How to check backlash on cnc machine?

Here have two way to setting backlash:

1. Mechanical adjustment: adjust the ball screw nut and tighten it. ( note: Can't be too tight)

2. It can use the laser interference instrument to detect the backlash value of each position of the machine , and input into the machine internal parameters for compensation.
